Sony announced that they are postponing the PS5 event due to the protests going on in the US. If you do not know, the protests started after the death of a black male George Floyd a few days ago.
Sony tweeted today saying that after what happened to George Floyd, it is not a time to celebrate PS5 games, and the company wants more voices to be heard.
The event was scheduled for 4 June 2020. The company has not informed the next scheduled date yet. However, none one cares about it much at the moment since the country is burning and US citizens are seeking justice.
Our Tribute to George. May God Bless his Soul.
